What does our name mean?

The former Engle Fabrication and R-WAY Trailer Mfg cmpanies were both located only a few miles from one another in the rolling hills and plains of central Minnesota. The hometown of Engle, and largest city in the area, is Sauk Centre, the birthplace and home of famed award-winning author Sinclair Lewis.

Choosing a name for a new company is as important as selecting the right name for a newborn child. We wanted something that alluded to our central Minnesota heritage, our founding near the town of Sauk Centre and our desire to produce a single, powerful new brand in the tank and trailer industry.

After much disscussion, we settled on the name Centerline. The two lines leading to the star in our logo visually indicate the boundaries of a roadway, but they also signify the two companies that have joined to become Centeline. The star represents our reach for excellence and pays tribute to the motto of our state, "L'Etoile du Nord", star of the North.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How does the new Centerline Trailer Manufacturing brand affect my relationship with Engle Fabrication or R-WAY Trailer Manufacturing?
A. We're still the Engle and R-WAY you've come to know and trust. Centerline is a great opportunity for us—and you—to leverage the advantages of a larger entity in delivering further cost-savings, increased engineering resources and wider customer service capabilities. We think you'll find that in many ways, working with us will be essentially the same experience with many improved processes and products.

Q. Why should we choose Centerline?

A. The people of Engle Fabrication and R-WAY bring extensive skill, care and experience servicing and repairing the equipment we build, and all brands of equipment for bulk transportation capability. We don't tailor your needs to the trailer or tank, we tailor it to your needs.

Q. Who uses transport tanks?
A. Transport tanks are used in any instance where a bulk liquid product needs to be transported from one area to another without the use of a pipeline.

Q. How are transport tanks used?
A. Transport tanks can be mounted on a truck, trailer, or skid mounted. They can be loaded and unloaded many different ways depending on the liquid product that they are designed to contain.

Q. Aren’t all transport tanks the same?
A. Transport tanks are designed around the product being transported. Special considerations are given to customer requests and needs, along with weight and size requirements.

Q. How large of a tank will fit on my truck?
A. Keeping in mind the front and rear axle’s weight capacities, the tanks are sized according to the gross vehicle weight (GVW) of your truck.

Q. Can my truck be altered to accommodate a larger tank size?
A. Yes, your axles can be moved or added, with truck frame modification.

Q. We are looking for someone to design and manufacture an in-plant holding tank for the chemical industry, can you help us?
A. Yes, Centerline can build almost any tank you have in mind-whether it is built to your specs, or we can design a tank to meet your particular needs.

Q. Can you provide me with customer references before we start a project with Centerline?
A. Yes, contact one of our sales consultants today for a current list of tank and trailer applications for construction dump trailers, liquid bulk transport, municipal equipment, firefighting apparatus and vacuum tank applications such as septic trailers.
